Daniel Chavez Moran and the Emergence of Brazil
Daniel Chavez Moran, a retired real estate and philanthropist from Mexico, has been looking at Brazil and seeing that the economic future of the country is very bright. Although there is a lot of interest in it, he is surprised by how many people outside of Latin America don’t know about the surge in economic vitality in Brazil. Mr. Moran’s non-profit foundation seeks to increase the economic activity in Latin America and have it more integrated with the rest of the global economy.l
One of the things that is causing a lot of interest in Brazil is the discovery of new oil discoveries. As the world continues to be reliant on oil and natural gas, there is continued interest in areas of the world where there is still some oil. Although a lot of people are aware of the oil in Canada due to the controversy with the Keystone pipeline, many are unaware of the discoveries down in Latin America. Fortunately, not everyone is caught unaware of these developments. Lufthansa, the worldwide German airline company, is introducing new service to Brazil due to the surge in economic activity. Daniel Chavez Moran expects this to grow as Latin American gains more influence in the global economy.
There are two events that may put Brazil on the map as a principal area of growth. The first is the 2016 summer Olympics which is going to be held in Brazil. Daniel Chavez Moran notes that this will introduce billion of people who have not paid much attention to this country. With the Olympics, many more will know about the wonderful economic and investment opportunities in Brazil. Brazil is also fortunate to have the 2014 World Cup as well which will make the country visible to billions of soccer fans. Mr. Moran knows that it is very important for infrastructure concerns for both events to be alleviated in the years leading to both events.
The rise of Brazil over the next couple of years is exciting for Daniel Chavez Moran and his non-profit foundation. It is his hope that the economic surge in Brazil as well as the rest of Latin America will continue so that the region can become a big player in the global economy.
