You’ll never know what could happen while you are inside your office but if you have proper training, you’ll definitely know what to do.In using a fire extinguisher, there are four simple steps that you need to remember. The first step is actually “PULL”. It means that by pulling, this will allow the substance inside the fire extinguisher to be discharged. The pin is a safety device that is part of a fire extinguisher that will prevent the substance to be discharged accidentally. It serves as protection on the handle. The next step is the word “AIM” and it means that you need to aim the fire extinguisher at the base of the fire. Never aim directly at the fire as this will cause combustion. With proper fire extinguisher training, you’ll be able to know all the steps that you need to do in case a fire occurs. Just remember the 4 words, Pull, Aim, Squeeze and Sweep.
