TheMoneyKid Scam

Recently we have seen a huge number of new “Get Paid to” type programs which seem to offer amazing incentives for sending traffic to their sites. We have seen them in the past with programs like Vinefire, which offered anywhere from $50 per friend you refered, to $1 per click on a link you made at their site.  One new site like this is the recently launch program called The Money Kid.  The Way TheMoneyKid works is that you get your own personal url which you copy and paste all over the place.  The site suggests that you post your link on sites like Facebook, Twitter, Bebo, etc.  The more clicks you get to your personalize TheMoneyKid url, the more money you will make.  In fact, you will earn 15 cents for each and every click you get on your personalized link.  That’s at least what they claim.  Instead though, the program has extremely high payout minimums, so it will take a huge amount of time for anyone to finally request a payout.  They claim to be able to pay such extraordinary rates simply because they are making more than that per click.  Let me tell you all this.  If anyone can figure out how to convert each and every untargeted site visitor they get into over 15 cents, they will be a billionaire.  TheMoneyKid does earn money since they have people filling out surveys to earn points, but before they will ever pay anyone out, mark my word, themoneykid will be gone, walking away with perhaps thousands of dollars in commission that they will earn via sites like CPAleads, and others.Remember that if an offer seems much too good to be true than it almost certainly is.  Of course, no one will shut these programs down since they are not asking for any kind of money to get started, but many people will waste a tremendous amount of their time, thinking they are earning lots of money, when in fact they are just watching numbers go up on a screen.
